Introduction to Virtual Reality

If you already have the Unity fundamentals down and the next step you want to take on your game development journey is Virtual Reality, then this is just the workshop you need.

The subjects covered in this workshop include developing a basic VR game for PC/Mac/Console, optimization techniques, ergonomics, physics and audio for VR.

Stunning Visuals: A Workflow for Artists

In this workshop you will utilize your artistic capabilities in order to create a futuristic racing game using assets created by Cybernetic Walrus.

Together we will build complex and visually appealing Scenes in Unity, configure Baked Global Illumination settings to produce realistic lighting effects, create an environmental scene utilizing Prefabs, and much more.

Prerequisites: Prior experience with the Unity editor

Introduction to 3D Game Development

The goal of this workshop is to get you up and running with the Unity game engine focusing specifically on working with its suite of 3D features.

 

You will build a 3rd person 3D game from the ground up, covering major subject areas including importing, animation, character configuration, implementing game mechanics, and publishing. In this workshop, you will build a simple arena level, create the character and enemies, implement gameplay, and setup health and score UI before learning the basics of publishing your game to PC.
